The Haps

So I guess it was time that I shared a blog about real life.

We had announced, prematurely, our first pregnancy to our friends the day before we went in for an ultrasound. In the back of my mind I had a nagging feeling about waiting until the second trimester but just decided to ignore it and indulge in the bliss of it all.

The night before our appointment was Micah's 30th birthday and he was bored in West Virginia so I let him go ahead and announce that I was pregnant. The next day at my appointment we got the bad news that the development had stopped at 8 weeks when I should have been about 10-11 weeks along. So I had to have a D&C. That was 2 weeks ago and I am doing fine and feeling well (I even went white water rafting this past weekend!). I had been dreading the fact that I have to buckle down and say something on Facebook because people still think I am pregnant. These things are very common at about 20-25%, so Micah and I have accepted it and are excited to start trying again :-)

I dont think there is any harm in anouncing it to people. we all want to be there for you if something were to happen so its ok to tell us your joys;) Never hide your Joy;) Love you girl;) i am excited for your future also;)
